Pitch size great pool
Lack of toilet roll being re filled food choice poor
Our chalet was very nice and we were in a nice quiet spot. Plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen/dining area The chalet was surrounded by very well tended shrubs The decking area was closed in on 3 sides which allowed us to sit out in the warm air without having to worry about rain and/or wind The pool was a good size - we didn't use the slides! Reception staff were very friendly and helpful The food was very nice also
The lack of a shop is a big negative for the campsite - the nearest shop is nearly a kilometre away which is not great at all for anyone with mobility issues Other than the reception staff, there did not appear to be any uniform - this made it quite difficult to determine who was actually working in the bar, restaurant etc Everybody having to order, and pay for, everything at the one place in the bar definitely slowed down service Having to put all the dishes etc on the table at the end of our holiday stay was time consuming and somewhat pointless as we would have expected that the staff would check everything before holiday goers arrived
Pool and food offerings were great
Charge of 30 euros on our departure but not sure what for
Clean, tidy, quiet, well invested, good pool and slides, helpful reception desk staff, modern mobile home.
Mattresses in the mobile home were really hard! Could have done with a kettle rather than two coffee machines Mobile home was very utilitarian but lacked a little in style
Location. Facilities.
Cleanliness of the pool. My son got a severe sickness bug which he got from the swimming pool Staff have poor multi languages so communication was a struggle.
- beautiful TAO area, very conveniently located, quiet area. - TAO chalets as we know them. excellent level of comfort with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. - great swimming pool area - ping pong / table tennis tables - volleybal net
- a shop - better quality bread/ vienoiserie or baked on site - kids club: in august 1 person for the kids club is not sufficient. it only allowed for 10 children. the programme was not inviting. our children are bilingual Flemish / English. I speak French. The moniteur nearly panicked when she heard the children don't speak French. - more and more mature staff - there was a face paint session advertised. our kids waited in line for 30 minutes (the moniteur already knew our children at that point). When in was their turn the kids were told they should have preregistered after the 3 face painters had done 3 other kids each. Tears could have been easily prevented here.
