A seaside & island holiday
The beach is several hundred metres from Sunêlia Les Places Dorées campsite. After a little walk through the pine forest, you’ll find its 8 kilometres of fine sand. From afar, you’ll be able to hear the sound of the waves and the birds singing. You’re here, your feet in the hot sand, a smile upon your lips. The Vendée coastline is interspersed with several lively seaside resorts, and the village of Saint-Jean-de-Monts is perfect for swimming with its gentle slope. It is also perfect for the famous gathering of “pignons” (small local clams), to be enjoyed as a family, of course.
Towards the horizon, Île d'Yeu proudly emerges opposite the Parée du Jonc beach. Would you like to experience an island getaway? Meet in Fromentine for a boat crossing. Then it’s up to you to lead the island life you like!
