The Natural Treasures of the Ardèche Hold a Thousand Surprises
From your Ardèche campsite with pool, set off to explore a region where nature can be experienced in the open air. Whatever your plans, this region will amaze you with its beauty.
Do your children dream of the Hogwarts Express? Hop aboard the Ardèche Train for a picturesque journey across viaducts and through lush valleys. For the more adventurous, the via ferrata offers safe climbing routes along the cliffs above the gorges.
Looking for a bit of freshness? Venture into the depths of the Earth at the Aven d’Orgnac, a monumental underground complex that is 100 million years old — a one-of-a-kind adventure 120 meters below ground!
In the same spirit, admire the reproductions of prehistoric cave paintings dating back over 36,000 years at Chauvet Cave 2.
Ardèche Campsite with Pool and River Access
In our Ardèche campsite with pool, you enjoy direct access to the river. The element remains the same, but the activities are endless to discover the beauty of the Chassezac gorges. What do you need for kayaking? Swimsuit, wetsuit, and life jacket — and you’re ready to climb aboard with your paddle!
Here are our favorite spots:
- Les Assions: a quiet site about 30 km from Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, perfect for paddling peacefully on the Ardèche.
- Balazuc: 25 minutes from Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, where several nautical bases allow you to descend the Ardèche River from Balazuc.
- Chauzon: a small village near Balazuc.
- Ruoms: a charming medieval town. Ucel: located north of Aubenas.
- Lanas: two great spots available for canoeing and kayaking.
Thrill seekers? Try canyoning in Chassezac for experienced adventurers or in Ourlettes for beginners. Abseiling, jumping, slides, swimming — a perfect cocktail for a colorful and action-packed day!
