Around the water at camping
Baia Holiday La Gallura
At Camping Baia Holiday La Gallura, water – in all its forms – sets the pace of your days. It soothes, refreshes and enhances every moment. Crystal-clear sea, swimming pool, wild beaches and hidden coves… here, water is never just a backdrop. It is an experience in itself. Dive in. Float. Take it all in.
The swimming pool, a refreshing break
When the call of the sea feels gentler, the campsite pool becomes the perfect alternative. A place to gather, cool off and slow down. By the water, enjoy the morning calm, swim a few lengths and simply let yourself float.
Loved by families and tranquillity seekers alike, the pool is a true relaxation space, ideal for alternating between exploration and rest.
Guests’ favourite: a late-afternoon swim, when the light softens and the atmosphere becomes peaceful.
Experience Sardinia to the rhythm of the Mediterranean
The simple pleasure of swimming
Located on the north coast of Sardinia, the campsite enjoys an exceptional natural setting. The sea stretches endlessly, offering a palette of blues and an immediate sense of freedom.
Nearby, the iconic beaches of Gallura welcome you in a bright, unspoilt environment. Spiaggia di Tanca Manna and Cala Battistoni charm with their shallow, crystal-clear waters—perfect for family swims and long moments of relaxation.
Guests’ favourite: swimming at the end of the day, when the beach empties and the sea turns into a mirror.
Places you almost keep to yourself
Away from the busiest beaches, the Gallura coastline reveals more discreet coves, often known only to insiders. On foot via coastal paths or by kayak from the sea, reach these preserved spots where silence becomes an experience in itself.
Discover, among others:
- Cala dei Ginepri, framed by granite rocks and pine trees, with clear water and a peaceful atmosphere.
- Cala dei Brigantini, even more secluded, inviting you to swim in a striking mineral setting.
- Cala Laconia and Cala Monti di a Rena, ideal for escaping the crowds, with calm waters perfect for swimming or floating under the Mediterranean sun.
Our tip: head out early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Softer light, fewer visitors and even more spectacular sea colours await.
Exploring the Sardinian coast from the sea
Around the water, holidays also take on a more active dimension, always in harmony with nature. Among the top three favourite water activities of our guests:
- Boat trips and breathtaking panoramas | From nearby ports, set sail towards the La Maddalena archipelago. Wild islets, deserted beaches and translucent waters create a spectacular setting.
- Paddleboarding and kayaking along the coast | From Cannigione, glide along the shoreline, reach hidden beaches and enjoy a gentle, silent exploration.
- Snorkelling and underwater discoveries | With just a mask and snorkel, discover the richness of Sardinia’s seabed. At Cala Liscia Ruja or near rocky areas, fish and seagrass thrive in crystal-clear water.
Did you know? The La Maddalena archipelago is a national park, ensuring the preservation of its marine biodiversity and unique landscapes.
