You can splash around at the river’s edge close to our 4-star campsite. Depending on your mood, you could:
- laze around on a pebble beach,
- swim in refreshing waters,
- spend time fishing in Lake Tolerme,
- or descend the Dordogne in a kayak.
Surprise your kids by taking them trekking, but not pony-trekking! Instead, try donkey-trekking where you walk alongside one of the region’s iconic pack donkeys who will carry your bag! Go for a bike ride on the valley’s cycle trails through the vineyards of Cahors.

Why not take them to try caving in one of the many dry caves or underground rivers? Adventurers of all ages will love the 17 climbing sites in Lot near Lac du Causse. Near Sarlat you and your teenagers can try tree trekking, zip wires and via ferrata.
You can also go geocaching in Lot, either on foot or by bike. Follow a treasure hunt and solve the clues as you get out into the countryside and explore the region and its history.

Medieval Day: step back in time with the whole family
Spend a whole day immersed in the Middle Ages and discover this fascinating world through a fully themed programme. From the morning onwards, children can set off on an adventure at the Kids’ Club with games and activities inspired by medieval times.
In the evening, the adventure continues with a falconry show and impressive flying demonstrations, followed by an immersive entertainment experience among the holidaymakers.
