I would like to book a stay with Sunêlia, what means of payment are available?

To book a camping holiday on our website, you’ll need a bank card. To book via our booking hotline (+44-2076-608-167), you can also pay by bank card (Visa or Eurocard/Mastercard), bank transfer or write out a cheque to Sunêlia.

Can we pay using French holiday cheques?

Yes we accept the French ANCV holiday cheques. To make a booking using these cheques, please contact our booking hotline on +44-2076-608-167. Your payment must be sent by registered post 1 month before the beginning of your stay.

I am entitled to discounts for my stay with Sunêlia, how can I use them?

Sunêlia works in partnership with organisations such as company unions, the CGOS (French social and community action organism), etc. If you have a discount from one of these organisms that you would like to use, please contact our booking hotline +44-2076-608-167 before booking. Any booking made on our website or directly with one of our campsites cannot be modified after the booking has been confirmed.

I have made a booking with the booking hotline, when will I receive my travel documents?

When you make a booking over the telephone with the booking hotline (+44-2076-608-167), you will receive confirmation of your booking by email or by post, as soon as we receive your deposit. As soon as the remaining balance of your stay has been paid (the deadline is 1 month before your arrival date), your travel documents (including all practical information for your stay) will be sent by email or by post.

I have made a booking with the booking hotline, when will I receive the invoice for my stay?

Your invoice for your stay will be sent automatically to you in the post, within one month after the end of your stay. 

The “Carte Privilège"

How can I request a “Carte Privilège”?

You can buy this card at any Sunêlia establishment. It costs €35 and with this card you will be able to benefit from numerous advantages at all Sunêlia establishments (except for partner sites), for two seasons.

Activities and wellness services

Is entertainment included in the stay or does an extra fee apply?

Entertainment and access to water parks are generally included in the price of your stay on a Sunêlia campsite. Some Sunêlia establishments offer an entertainment bracelet at an extra fee, that grants you access to all services and water-based facilities.

What happens if I lose my entertainment bracelet?

The entertainment bracelet is used to identify you as a Sunêlia customer and to grant you access to the services on offer. If you lose your bracelet, contact the reception and they will give you a new one.

Do we have to book in advance to use the Sunêlia spa facilities?

The services on offer at Sunêlia campsites with spa facilities can be booked directly on-site, at an extra fee. We recommend you book beauty treatments and massages as soon as you arrive on the campsite.

Accommodation services

Are all rentals equipped with heating and air-conditioning?

All Sunêlia mobile homes have a heating system. Some of them have air-conditioning. There is a detailed description available for each rental and our holiday advisors can provide you with information about your rental when you make your booking.

Is there outdoor decking with each rental accommodation? Is it covered?

Yes, most of the Sunêlia rental units have outdoor decking with garden furniture. However, not all of them are covered. Some of them are covered, others are equipped with a large parasol, some have neither. Ask our holiday advisors about the equipment available with your rental when you make your booking.

Young children

Are babies counted in the rental capacity?

Yes, the total capacity for a rental is calculated with your optimal comfort in mind, and the number of people indicated should not be exceeded.

Are there services available for very young children?

Yes, all establishments provide a “Baby Kit” including a bath, highchair and cot. This kit is available at an extra fee, at all Sunêlia campsites. Some establishments offer a creche or childcare service (campsites for babies). Take a look at the details of services available at the Sunêlia Interlude and the Sunêlia Holiday Green.

Hotel services

Is it possible to book a half-board stay?

Most of our establishments offer deals for accommodation + breakfast or half-board.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

It is possible to reserve sheets, pillowcases and bath towels when you make your booking, or when you arrive at your Sunêlia campsite. These services generally require an extra fee. When these services are included, it is specified in the rental price. Blankets and pillows are however provided for all rental accommodation.

Is it possible to book end-of-stay cleaning?

Yes, at an extra fee. Just ask at reception when you arrive at your Sunêlia establishment.

Exclusive Sunêlia services

How can I sign up for the “Sunshine Deal”?

The “Sunshine Deal” is automatically provided at no extra cost for any stay for a minimum of 7 nights in rental accommodation. You can find out more about this exclusive Sunêlia deal at www.sunelia.com.

How can I find out if my stay is eligible for the “Sunshine Deal” payment?

The terms and conditions for the "sunshine deal” are automatically verified for all stays in rental accommodation of at least 7 nights. If you do not have the minimum days of sunshine as stipulated in the deal, you will receive the “Sunshine Deal” payment of either €100 or €200.

Will I get a refund of all or a part of the payments made in the event of a cancellation?

Yes, Sunêlia provides a Cancellation guarantee for all stays in rental accommodation for at least 7 nights, not including camping pitches. For stays that are not concerned by these terms, it is possible to sign up for cancellation insurance, at an extra fee.

Pets

Are pets allowed on Sunêlia campsites?

Pets are accepted, at an extra fee, on camping pitches and rental accommodation for some establishments. Ask our staff when you make your booking. For the campsites where pets are authorised, only one small animal (6 kg) is permitted. Owners must keep their pets on a lead on the campsite and provide proof of vaccination upon arrival.

Opening dates and times

What are the campsite opening and closing dates?

The opening and closing dates are shown on the website, on the page for each specific campsite.

What time is check-in and check-out at a Sunêlia establishment?

As a general rule, check-in is from 4pm. If you arrive earlier, we recommend you inform the campsite and they will try and prepare for your early arrival. You should also inform the campsite if you plan on arriving after 8pm, so they can leave the keys for your rental accommodation for you. On the Departure day, check-out for rental accommodation is at around 10am. These times are subject to change depending on the chosen destination:
