Easy check in process, nice size pitch and with clean facilities. The site has good dog walks nearby and is not far from Salbris which is a lovely town.
Feedback from guests who have stayed
at Étang de Sologne
Good size pitches, clean toilet facilities. Nice swimming pool
Helpful staff close to the village to buy bread etc
Extra ladies toilets perhaps but really everything is perfect
This site was recommended by a friend, who was not wrong. This is by far a welcome you need after a days driving peaceful and brilliant staff who ensure your made to feel at home immediately. Bar, food and pool immaculate kept. Well done team thank you for a great stay.

Friendly staff, clean facilities
All ok
Great staff and bistro friendly. Lake swimming Laundry
Tent pitches should be closer to toilet/ shower block. Separate toilets and showers - better together
Very rustic...back to bature
Cut the grass more....closer electric points.
Good location and facilities close to village and train station should you wish to travel further
As end if season visitors site looked a little worn but fine nonetheless.
The site was lovely, but I'm still waiting for my €100 euros back from my deposit,
Still waiting for my €100 euros back from my deposit, not happy
Location for a one night stop.
Larger shower cubicles with a bench
Nice surroundings
Toilet and showers were very dated A bit more honesty about what is in the area to do on foot, as there is nothing to do in regards to going out to eat/drink. A few more essentially in the show for the same reason above
People are friendly and proximity to the motorway
The pitches were in very poor condition poorly marked bathrooms are very dated and for 60 € a night seems very expensive.
Nice lake, good water sports activities.
The tent pitch was absolutely awful, the ground was only suitable for caravans/motorhomes. It was too small and lacked privacy from our neighbours. Very disappointing. The general grounds around the camping areas looked deserted and abandoned with tape strung between trees and tree branches littered over the ground.
Easy access, friendly receptionist
Sanitary blocks are very dated and need cleaning to a much higher standard. Not as good as other Sunelia sites we've used before.
Lovely clean toilets and showers. Good facilties for families. Lots to do, even an agility course for dogs.
More organised and clearly marked pitches. Ensure allocated pitch is vacant and escort arrivals to pitch to ensure siting of tent or caravan is in correct place
The campsite has a nice lakeside setting and is convenient for the local town and railway station. The sanitary block was okay.
The camping pitches were poorly marked out with the pitch numbers on posts but many of the posts had fell over and made it difficult to find the correct pitch. The grass was lush but overgrown.
Price point was good.
Little unhappy that despite plenty vacant pitches through the campsite we were only offered a smaller selection in the areawher people come and go for one or 2 nights. Indicated that we'd stay longer if we had a good pitch but told ACSI is only the field. Grass cut but not collected so through the van after a few days. Friendliness on checkmin was mixed. One girl really not interested, said bonjour on the day the barrier was not working but no response..Girl that checked us in was.ok but the other young one couldn't be bothered. Small things that you remember. Would have stayed longer on better pitch. Sites loss not ours.
Plenty of facilties, thus 4 star. Quality was only 1 star.
The office staff continued to talk whilst I waited. At the very least the grass could have been cut. The electricity kept dropping out, presume set at only 5 amps I wasn't asked if I wanted to make an eco contribution, it was just added to the bill. Won't be visiting any of your sites again
grass needed mowing , nothing open . Tents decking was dangerous and loose. tent was dirty, light didnt work no bedding
mow the grass
All the staff we met were very pleasant and seemed to have a smile on their faces. The campsite had a natural beauty. We're sorry we couldn't stay longer but we were in a hurry to get to warmer weather down South.
Not sure. As we visited during the relatively quiet season.
For an overnight stop, drive through pitches are really good and save a lot of time
Although there was a marker showing our pitch, it wasn't clear which way the pitch was laid out. Some clearer pitch markings would be helpful...
Friendly staff
Some hardstand pitches for motorhomes in wet weather
Great location for a one night stop off on the way to or from our main site. Takeaway is a great bonus.
Soap in the toilets to be able to wash hands.
Friendly staff in reception
The pitches we were in were in an area where many trees had been cut down, unfortunately I was unable to see most of the remaining stumps over the bonnet of my car because there was no indication of the position. I actually caused damage to my car by driving into one. The stumps should be either fenced off or a post hammered into them with a warning sign on top of them to make them visible from inside a car.
Lovely relaxed setting. It got better as the week progressed and we discovered more. Best campsite swimming pool we’ve ever visited. Paddle boarding on the lake is fantastic. The butchers and bakery in the village were brilliant. The cooking/shower pods on our pitch were worth the extra cost.
My only suggestion would be more information on things to do close to the campsite in the reception area.
friendly staff , great facilities very clean and tidy
Larger seating at the bar for meals
Quiet friendly site

Lovely people and excellent pitches
If restaurant open everyday
Nice pitches, lake amenity, clean sanitation, pleasant village, quiet site and friendly reception
All good
a lovely location with the lake, large pitches and snack bar
availability of sun beds on the beach
Absolutely fabulous stay. Staff could not have been more helpful. A very restful and enjoyable stay
Nothing. Perfect 👌
reception staff great . pitches clear and tidy . toilets were cleaner this time .
the food outlet offers very expensive and very poor offerings as choices are all high fat . i drove 10 mins up the road and had a high quality 3 course meal for 4 persons for less money than the rather expensive burgers on the globtrotter offering . i just dont think this food at glob trotter is to my expectation and the costs very high in my opinion
Loved the lake. Pitches were big. Nice snack bar. Food cooked whilst we waited to take away. Ideally situated near the motorway. Really friendly staff on arrival.
Just a tiny point but the bins were overflowing and the recycling wasn’t obvious.
Near the motorway Large pitches
We had reserved pitches in the shade, directed to our pitch only to find it occupied! Reception said they could do nothing about it and to go and find our own pitch. What is the point of having reservation and allocating pitches?
