Outdoor pools
The outdoor pools, heated from the moment they open, will be where your holiday’s at! You’ll head here with all the family, towels under your arm, sun block on your nose, or solo, with only that pile of books that’s been gradually building up on your bedside table for the last year for company. Perhaps you’ll even join in with one of the instructor-led aquagym sessions. With shady palm trees dotted around the crystal-clear waters of the pools and a verdant expanse of lawn with a seamlessly integrated planted area, the outdoor pools are a real garden of Eden for those dreaming of escaping the daily grind.
Children’s water play area
Holidaying with your children – or grandchildren – and worried about them playing in the ‘big pool’? Never fear! Our children’s water play area is here! A dedicated area, where you can safely enjoy watching your little ones safely enjoy oodles of fun in the water! More than just a shallow pool, the water play area features water jets, tipping buckets and a whole host of other fun features for young children. Here, they’ll be free to explore the world of water in complete safety and discover the joy of splashing around and thrilling experience of water slides.
The Spacegliss
Fancy an adrenalin rush to liven up your holiday? Well, you won’t need to go far! Simply take on the challenge of the Spacegliss in our pool complex! More than a crazy 96 metres of exhilarating sliding fun and incredible speed sensations. Two 10-metre-high ultra-speed water slides will whisk you down into a separate pool at the bottom. Before you’ve barely even had the chance to catch your breath, you’ll be back up there at the top, determined to beat your (or your children’s?) speed record.
Indoor pool
In the mood for a little peace and quiet? Then now is the perfect time to try out the 5-star campsite’s indoor pool in its pool complex. The calmer ambiance of this pool invites you to swim a few leisurely lengths or simply to float aimlessly on your back, with only the muffled sounds of your surroundings under the water. The heated waters of the indoor pool also make it the perfect pool for teaching your little ones the front crawl.
Vendée’s beaches
Less than a kilometre away from the Sunêlia Les Places Dorées campsite, Vendée’s beaches stretch out like a golden carpet beneath your feet. Enjoy a splash around with the kids, take a well-deserved afternoon nap, build an entire sand kingdom, or simply sit back and watch the waves. Our top beach suggestions? Go for a walk along the wet sand – a semi-aquatic activity that’s great for toning your legs and strengthening your heart. Head down to the beach at dawn and set up camp on the rocks for a spot of fishing. Who knows, perhaps you’ll strike lucky and catch some sea bass or sea bream for lunch! And it’s not just the fish that’s worth catching on Vendée’s beaches, but the surf, too! Take to your surfboard to tame the crashing waves and enjoy the thrill of the ride.
