Get rid of gimmiky things from the mobile home

Clean, well maintained, friendly staff, great pools, lovely chalet - and the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in on holidays!

Restaurant fare was not as varied as we had anticipated. End of season stock in the shop was low

Location close to the beach. Campsite was clean and well laid out Staff were helpful. Cabins are clean and tidy although the master bedroom could be wider. Children are safe and can run around quite freely.

Need more entertainment/activities for teenagers.(wall climbing, skate park, mountain bike trails,athletics competitions, girls football teams, rounders games) More lifeguards on duty in the pool areas (only ever saw one at any one time even when it was busy.) Prices of drinks in the bar were quite high considering it was a campsite. Wifi for whole of family would be good instead we had to pay an extra 25euro for three more devices.Which is the same as I pay per month.....not per week. The onsite shop could have been better stocked with everyday items.

The pool is fantastic and having the inside pool was great as the weather wasn't too good when we stayed. The kids were very occupied and we went nearly every day. The chalet was very clean and more spacious in the living area than others we have stayed in. Great location too only a short walk from the beach and the town.

Not all the entertainment was listed on the app. There was a real push to use the app so I was surpised to find out other things were going on during the day that weren't listed. It didn't massively affect our holiday but it would have been nice to know about it.

Great location, on site facilities

Safe, secure, plenty of sun beds.

Lager pitch for luxury booking as we struggled with a large caravan and awning, the car was not well parked as a result.

The pool is brilliant, plenty of sun loungers. Shops, bar, restaurant are all reasonably priced. Toilet blocks all very clean and well kept. The site is almost perfect for us in every way. We travelled with 9 other family’s who also stayed on the site in the caravans, tents and lodges. Staff all very helpful and friendly.

Mosquitos. That’s the only issue we had. We have all been bitten sooooo much. I have around 40 bites, we all used repellant but nothing worked. I know this is not a direct issue with the site but it’s the only reason I wouldn’t come back. We all loved the place but every one of us has said we couldn’t come back until something can be done about them. One of our favourite holidays but the only downside was the mosquitos.

Shop was very basic. Check in was incomplete. No info about childcare - poor response from reception when challenged.

Le Fief is a lovely campsite overall and we enjoyed our stay. There was always a great atmosphere around the place. The entertainers were full of enthusiasm and we loved how they tried to get everyone involved in the daily activities.

In my opinion the following could be improved: the onsite restaurant is not to the standard you would expect. We ate there twice and each time there were issues with the wine order (the wrong wine was served to us, the label was covered with a sunelia sticker celebrating the camp's 60th birthday, however we could read the name of the wine on the back) two meals were undercooked, coffees didn't arrive at the end of the meal even though they were ordered. The fish dish "dorade" was a hit with some of our group one night, however overall the food was only mediocre unfortunately. The children opted for the children's sunelia menu both nights. The Pepsi they were served was flat. The pool is great but the turnstile is slow to enter and exit, if you have a bag on your shoulder it is easy to get stuck. The wooden bridges around the pools and lazy river are not pleasant to walk on. The wooden surface has started to soften and doesn't look or feel hygienic. The wooden steps up to the outdoor slides are the same. If you are swimming or floating along in the lazy river you have to be really careful not to bang your head off the bottom of the two bridges that you pass under. They should raise the height of these bridges a little. There is no oven or dishwasher in the mobile homes/chalets. We stayed in a comfort declick. We had previously stayed in a Sunelia campsite called Interlude in Île de Ré so we expected a similar setup but were disappointed. Nonetheless we were able to order pizzas and chips from the takeaway which were quite tasty. The shop closes for 4 hours in the middle of the day which is awkward. It could do with stocking more food options as the choice is very limited. The lady who runs the shop is really nice though. I used the Spa once and had a "beauté au pied", it was probably my own fault but I didn't realise that I had to pay extra for a nail paint at the end. It should be included in the price as €40 is expensive for a food soak and massage on it's own. Overall I had to pay around €55.

The animation team were the best ever experienced, such professionalism and so great with the kids! Pool area was great, toilet/shower facilities also good.

The shop could have a better range of food products, but was acceptable. Maybe the only thing I would add to the park would be some kind of indoor play/eating place - after all the weather is not always great in the region

Facilities, food and entertainment were good

Two tents with teenagers were put next to us on our last night, they stayed up late making noise until past 2am. They should be put in a different area away from families with young children

The pool was amazing.

Kids splash area outside cold. More information on end of cleaning that require before stay. And cost if you require a final clean.

Everything was perfect. Clean mobile house with all necessary inside. Good Swimming pool area with a lot of entertainment every day. Beautiful nature. Many flowers and plants. Friendly staff.

Very big park, with all amenities you need if you have children

More area’s for adults in swimming pool and a bit more variety in restaurant

The staff are so friendly, welcoming and your kids club and entertainment staff are exceptional!!!! They are what made the holiday for us

The life guard sat on his phone a lot, and shouldn’t he have a seat high up to see what’s going on at the pool?

The swimming pool is very nice , restaurant and takeaway offer good choices and reasonable prices’. Toilet blocks are very well appointed and clean. Pitches are a good size for caravans and camping cars

The entertainment was a bit hit and miss . Some nights the thing that was planned didn’t happen at the time it said ( or at all ). There was not much thought given to people who did not speak fluent French

Very clean and spacious. Pool area fantastic. Reception very knowledgeable especially Natalie.

A soft play for children would be good.

The accommodation (Taos) was the best equipped that we have stayed in. We loved the bbq provided, the oven, that the beds were made, all the extras that made the stay that much more comfortable. The reception staff are very nice and helpful. The location was very good, it was quiet but still near all the amenities. The sports facilities were well maintained and had great variety. There was a very relaxed atmosphere at the pool. The snack and restaurant quality is very good.

The surface of the outdoor pool is very abrasive. The children like to spend a lot of time in the pool and had abrasions on fingers and feet. A smoother surface would make the pool more enjoyable.

Campsite was very well maintained and was extremely clean

Kids clubs and activities were not on for one of the weeks. Staff at the restaurant were a bit lazy. The shop was not open enough
