Sunêlia Domaine de Champé is a campsite in the mountains that enjoys a privileged geographical location. It is located less than 30 minutes drive from Mulhouse and Epinal, in the regional park of Ballons des Vosges. From the property, you can reach in less than 45 minutes to one of the main ski resorts of the Vosges.

 

Vosges resorts are ideal for families. Less frequented than the resorts of the Alps and the Pyrenees, they are distinguished by their human size, their authenticity and their quality infrastructures. The elevations are relatively low compared to those of the alpine and Pyrenean mountains, making access to the slopes safer and easier for children and beginners.

 

Larcenaire

Located 4 km from the campsite, Larcenaire is an ideal resort for families and beginners. It was built in the heart of a circus that protects it from the winds. If you like ski jumping, you will be able to take classes and put the theory into practice on the initiation board. The resort has bars and restaurants, and offers equipment rentals.

 Close to Domaine de Champé (15 km), Gazon Rouge is a popular resort for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts. You will find several accommodations, restaurants, equipment rentals, a first aid station and a ski school that offers beginner classes.

The resort of Ballon d'Alsace (14 km from the campsite) is mainly for lovers of downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. Ski lessons and other activities such as snowshoeing, sledding, snowboarding, tobogganing and canoeing are also available.

Gerardmer

 This beautiful resort built in the valley of lakes has 20 alpine ski slopes (3 lighted slopes) and 30 km of Nordic ski slopes.

 

 

Markstein

 The Markstein ski area has 11 downhill ski runs and 40 km of Nordic ski slopes with panoramic views of the Vosges and Alsace.
