  • Larcenaire Ski Resort

Just under 2.5 miles away from the campsite, Larcenaire is the perfect ski resort for families and beginners. Do your favourite winter sports away from the wind. The resort has gourmet bars and restaurants as well as gear rental shops. 

Do you like ski jumping? Take a few lessons with our qualified ski instructors and turn your knowledge into practice on our beginners’ ski jump. 

Good to know: Ski pass price: between €14 and €16 per day for adults - 1 kindergarten (Club Piou-Piou) - 8 runs (3 green, 3 blue, 1 red, 1 fun and 1 beginners ski jump slope) - 1 slalom stadium – shuttles connect the resort to the campsite. 

 

  • Rouge Gazon

Rouge Gazon, a ski resort near Sunêlia Domaine de Champé is particularly popular with Nordic skiing and snowshoeing fans.  

It’s just over 9 miles from the campsite and has several restaurants, gear hire shops and a ski school for beginner Alpine skiers and snowboarders. 

Good to know: Ski pass price: between €14 and €16 per day for adults - 1 multisport area, 11 runs (5 green, 3 blue, 2 red and 1 black) – shuttles connect the resort to the campsite. 

 

  • Ballon d’Alsace

With over 24 miles slopes, Ballon d’Alsace resort is popular with experienced Alpine skiers and cross-country skiers.  

It’s just under 9 miles from the campsite and is where you can take ski lessons and enjoy a range of winter activities including snowshoeing, dog sledding, snowboarding, sledging and canoeing.

Good to know: Ski pass price: between €14 and €19 per day for adults - 1 sledge slope - 1 snow play area – 1 snow park - 21 slopes (5 green, 3 blue, 3 red, 1 black and 10 artificial slopes) – shuttles connect the resort to the town centre. 

 

  • La Bresse

Welcome to the largest mountain resort in the north-east of France! Take to La Bresse’s 543 acres of magnificent skiable area, just 22 miles from the campsite.  

If you’re looking for an original skiing holiday, take to the slopes at night on the weekend and feel a new type of thrill.

Good to know: Ski pass price: between €20 and €30 per day for adults - 1 fun slope - 1 picnic room - 42 slopes (7 green, 20 blue, 14 red, 1 black and 1 artificial slopes).

Gérardmer: This lovely resort in the Vallée des Lacs has 20 Alpine ski slopes and 30 Nordic ski slopes. 

Markstein: Hurtle down 40 km of slopes and take in the magnificent views of the Vosges and Alsace.
