Sunêlia Domaine les Ranchisses
The quality of the facilities, especially the water park, the covered pool, the bar, the ice cream bar, the shop and the evening entertainment.
After hours checkin: we couldn't find anyone to speak to and ended up over the road, stick between two barriers for our first night with no toilet facilities.
Beautiful location in a carefully planned and well maintained site, with lovely facilities and very helpful staff. What more could we ask for?? Perfect!
Fresh milk in the shop
The adult only swimming pool and relax area is really good.
The restaurant is nice.
The sanitary facilities were large and clean.
The pitches are too close to each other. There is a lack of privacy. On our pitch (102), the ground was too hard to properly pitch the tent with pegs.
Very clean and tidy, great staff, the facilities were good and not old/worn
Possibly communication - eg more information in the cabins about opening/closing times for pool/bar/shop etc
Great facilities, well laid out, quiet and superb staff.
Steam room not working at first.
A truly wonderful site, clean, great facilities and super staff.
Great water park
Gym and sauna pool should be free
Restaurant, services, swimming pool, river
Bathrooms could be improved (showers water pressure, having the tap on for longer, ?)
Literally the very best site we have ever stayed in, and over the years we have stayed in a lot
Great service and a truly excellent site.
Camp site location, pools, camp pitch, staff.
We found this year there was a lot more dogs on the site. We found aa number of owners were not picking up their dogs mess and also were not walking them on a lead.
We also found that a number of campers were making a lot of social noise after 23:00hrs. Although we understand people are on holiday this noise was still being made past 01,00am !!
Both issues were reported to Reception at the time.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy booking process.
Camping pitches too close together.
Camping pitches need hedging between to offer privacy. Felt very open and exposed.
Felt a little too much like a holiday camp (eg, Eurocamp).
Not too big, very child friendly. Lots of activities many of which you don't have to pay extra for. Well maintained and kept very clean. Excellent pools. Level pitches.
Temperature control - lots of the taps in the shower block were almost impossible to control.
Facilities are second to none, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Mobile home in amazing surroundings. Local town is lovely and kids entertainment is fantastic
Barely anything but I would like better lunch options at the bar rather than microwave food. We would use the food there more if it was better. Perhaps more comfortable sun loungers by the pools as we spend a lot of time there
Very friendly and lots of super facilities
Toilet block can be a bit smelly but it is kept very clean. We had to prune the hedges to tidy the little path to the toilets as it was very over grown.
Pool complex, river & animation staff & reception staff
Ref COVID there was not enough and gel at touch points ie swimming pool gates
Good pool for adult and children
Bar area is close to the pool
The site is just the right size
More sun umbrellas are needed by the adult pool
Bar area, restaurant, takeaway, shop and staff
Accommodation. The double bed in the living area was not good or comfortable. No Oven or BBQ facility.
Welcome by the owners, the facilities inc adult swim pool etc, the location, the restaurant.
More hand soap dispensers in the toilet blocks would be a real bonus! Thsi year there was also a sewerage smell towards the end of the prairie campling places that wasn't so pleasant when, it wasn't a permanent smell but difficult to know where it was coming from.
Swimming pool, spa, restaurant, location
Our camping pitch was slightly noisy at night due to the proximity of the pumps for the pool
This is the best campsite we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot. This is our fifth time in Largentiere.
Please note: we were a Eurocamp customer.
Excellent and clean facilities, catering for all the family.
The smell that is below the toilets on the campsite is really terrible at times. Also the problem of a boar (sanglier) coming into the awning and chewing a dog lead and also eating the guy rope if my daughters tent with the baby in it. Although we told the staff they were totally uninterested. I would hesitate to come again, despite coming for many years in the past.
Quiet location, ambience, not too far from tourist sites, restaurant, friendly staff.
Wifi - signal not great. Also would be good to make Wi-Fi free.
Swimming pool area could be updated.
