Boat trips to the Île aux Oiseaux, the Dune du Pilat, the Banc d’Arguin nature reserve and la pointe du Ferret headland, not to mention a visit to the town of Arcachon. You can also find out more about oyster farming and why not take time to sample a dozen or so oysters in the oyster tasting huts? You’re sure to fall under the spell of the place. To make the most of your leisure time, try a fishing excursion, surf session or water sport. Alternatively you could go for a bike ride along the 24 km of bike paths. A thrilling holiday, in unspoilt countryside, rich in history and traditions, awaits you. The campsite grounds extend over more than 20 ha including moorlands, pine trees and rolling hills. The site features spacious pitches, surrounded by vegetation and modern facilities, perfect for spending quality time with family and friends.

Les Embruns is a high-end campsite, in a superb location, equipped with numerous, family-friendly facilities (4 pools, kids/teen club, games area, mini-golf, table tennis, boules pitch, multi-sports pitch and inflatables etc.) Every year we upgrade and improve on-site facilities to ensure customer satisfaction and well-being. Now, thanks to our heated (28°C), covered pool, which is available from Easter until late September, you no longer need to worry about bad weather. You’ll find relaxing water jets, a jacuzzi, two slides as well as a secure area for younger children. And if you want to get away from it all and unwind, why not take time to visit our Wellness Area. Visit our heated spa, steam room and sauna, indulge in a massage, reflexology session or treatment and tap into that zen feeling.

Furthermore, you can buy freshly baked bread and pastries from our bakery every day in high season. Our shock jock camp facilitators will keep your 4 to 17 year olds entertained in high season. Depending on their age, we offer a range of fun and sporty activities (surfing, mini discos, treasure hunts and encounters with “Sunny,” our mascot), guaranteed to delight and leave lasting memories. Days and evenings in the campsite are always magical times thanks to the numerous events on offer, for example: dance concerts, shows and cabarets, and exciting Feria-style evenings that showcase the traditional exuberance of this south-westerly region.

You’ll find shops and a covered market, selling local products, just 300 metres from the campsite.
Arcachon Bay, located just 700 metres from the campsite, offers spectacular views of traditional landscapes, shaped by the ever-changing winds and tides. You’ll have the pleasure of tasting fresh oysters from the Bay - without any harmful side effects! The campsite is located on the edge of a forest with direct access to a cycle path - a great starting point for exploring some of the peninsula’s many, must-see sites.
If want to escape and clear your mind, take a stroll through the pine trees and listen to the ocean waves (the campsite is located just 7 km from the supervised beaches of Truc Vert and Grand Crohot), then continue exploring by bike, cycling as far as the famous Cap Ferret lighthouse where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view. Arcachon Bay awaits you for a charming, elegant, seaside stay. The Peninsula, featuring 25 km of coastline between the ocean and the lagoon, is teeming with amazing places to visit, each more breathtaking than the last. Visit one of the 10 traditional, oyster-farming villages overlooking the famous Dune du Pilat - bathed by the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon and surrounded by sandy beaches, stretching as far as the eye can see - where you can taste, and find out more about, oysters.
The Atlantic ocean is also well known for its surf sports. Our local partners and surf school will introduce you to this must-try, regional sport. Numerous land and sea-based activities and local experiences await you. Explore the wine routes and stop off at one of Bordeaux’s famous wine châteaux. And don’t forget a trip to the city of Bordeaux, a UNESCO world heritage site where the ancient and modern blend seamlessly together.
